Winter Brides!!!

I am so looking forward to the trends of this winter! I have seen tons and tons of deep cobalt blue, teal, and plumb purple. I know the photos are going to be wonderful! I have also been in a natural branch and birch phase and with these deep colors it may one of my favorite seasons. I found this picture on an inspiration blog and I would love to see some "winter" applied to this same concept! I love this!!

Feathers feathers feathers

Okay, let me start by saying I have always been very "careful" when suggesting anything other than fresh flowers for wedding bouquets. A classic rose bouquet for the bride has always been my number one choice and I suggest little crystal sprays or maybe a few feathers or little family heirloom broaches here and there to make it unique. I have recently discovered how absolutely BEAUTIFUL and wonderful feather bridal bouquets can be. I am in love with them and have decided to have them made for my wedding. They can be stunning if designed correctly. These can be a diy project if you are up for the challenge but can also be custom designed by several vendors now. Etsy.com offers a huge selection and they are very reasonably priced. I have found some for as little as $350.00 that are totally custom. These bouquets are timeless. They will never fade and change and can be preserved to prevent age from changing the color. I love love love this idea!!
